Hard Work and Training Pays Off |
  
The South Butler Volunteer Fire Department is proud to announce that we have achieved three different certifications this year with the hard work and dedications of our members. We have 26 active men and women that have become highly trained and experienced in various types of rescue. Congratulations to all the fire department personnel on a job well done. Everyone should be proud of this achievement
We have 7 Paramedics, 10 EMT's & 4 1st Responders. 2nd ALS Squad & 1st ALS Engine in Butler Co
- PA State Fire Commissioners Participating Department Program
Our department began the program with the minimum of 10% of the personnel with the qualifications. At this time we have achieved over 75% of the personnel having the qualifications.
PA Fire Fighter I - 22 personnel PA Fire Fighter II - 5 personnel
- PA Dept. of Health & PA State Fire Commissioners Voluntary Rescue Service Recognition Program
Personnel received training in Basic Rescue Practices, Basic Vehicle Rescue, Rope Rescue 1-5. South Butler qualified for the ADVANCED LEVEL of the certification. 1st in Butler Co.
